Leonor walked into the bar and took in the familiar surroundings. She walked straight to the bar. She sat at a stool and motioned for Gryph to come over.

Following Leonor's lead, Gryph found a seat at the bar. He scanned the interior and patrons briefly before turning his attention back to his present company.
"Do you have any recommendations in particular?" he asked politely, smiling.

Leonor posting as the bartender!!
He watched as the pair strode into the bar. He watched them sit right in front of him.
"What will ya be orderin' t'night?" he asked. "I highly recommend the Honey BBQ wings. If not, there's always the medium rare ribs." He smiled.
Posting as Leonor again!
"I agree with him," she said. "So what'll it be?"

Gryph continued to smile amiably. "Honey BBQ ribs it is, then...and a pot of tea, if you please," he requested politely.

Leonor posting as the Bartender
"Coming right up!" he said. "And by the way, my name is Sammy, if you need anything else, give me a holler."
Posting as me again
"Alright Sammy," she said. She turned to Gryph. "So what brings you here?"

Gryph shrugged slightly. "As terribly cliché as this sounds, I'm simply passing through. I've been travelling for some time..." he paused to chuckle in an embarrassed, almost self-depreciatory manner. "I'll be wandering all over the world for the rest of my life, I imagine."
Gryph regarded her with a thoughtful smile. "And yourself? What brings a charming lady such as yourself to this town?"

"Well, I'm from around here," she answered. "Actually, I was born here, and raised...elsewhere..." She looked at the bar table. "And I just came back, to see the sights again..."

The door of the bar swung back violently as he stepped into the room. A few patrons of the bar looked at him strangely as he entered - the others had learnt that the best way to stay alive is to not ask questions of outsiders. This one, however, was a new sight - vampyres and the occasional twisted faerie had passed through in their time, but never a member of the lizardmen. He glanced over the drinkers - mostly older, grizzled veterans of wars and the like, and a young couple enjoying a meal. Here, there seemed to be nobody that would irritate him. He walked heavily but smoothly to the bar and waited for service. He was Slither, called that by those that knew him because they couldn't take the time or effort to pronounce his real name. He was slightly taller than the average human, and slightly better built. His long tail reached across the floor and curled around table-legs. The bartender decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to make the newcomer wait. He hurried over and asked, "What'll it be? A drink, food? Umm... do you speak?" A long, forked tongue came out of his mouth and flickered momentarily before he spoke with an unidentifiable accent - "The ribs. Three serving's will be fine." He settled back and waited for his meal, as some drinkers took more of an interest in him. A person from the clan of lizardmen who could speak their tongue?

A woman pushed open the newly polished glass door of the Bar, and stepped in, scanning the room for anything, or anyone remotely interesting to talk to. She spotted Leonor, talking to a stranger, but decided aginst interrupting.. She looked around again, seeing only old, drunken civilians with whores on their knees sticking coins down their blouses. 'Repulsive..' she muttered to herself as she prepared herself to leave and find a more interesting drinking house when her eyes fell upon an interesting looking creature ordering a meal for himself.
She walked over to him, nodding at the bartender as she approached them. "Evenin' Sam" She piped up cheerfully as she slid into the stool next to the lizard-man and flipped a few golden coins onto the counter.
"Miss Thatch..? I haven't seen you in decad.." Stammered the bartender, eyeing the coins on the counter greedily. "..w-would you like something to drink, or were you just going to leave them there as a tip for me..?"
Audrey laughed. "Of course not Sam.. Would I ever give you money just for the hell of it? No.. This is for this gentleman's meal y'see.. and two glasses of mead.." The barkeep nodded sullenly, before scooping the coins off the counter and placing then quickly into his pocket.
The woman turned to face the lizard-man. "Well.. I haven't seen you around here before.. though I know your species quite well.. One of my old crew-mates was a halfling like yourself.. I dare say from a similar clan to yours.."
SAm returned shortly with two mugs brimming with golden mead. "There'yare.. the best in the house fer you, Miss Thatch.." She nodded, and nudged one of the mugs to Slither. "Drink, Sir.. If it pleases ye.."

The lizardman turned to the newcomer, and eyed the drink offered to him. He had heard the bartender clearly - so this was Miss Thatch, otherwise known as the leader of the infamous seafaring band that challenged the Corps. He had heard quite a lot in his travels, but had never considered that he would one day meet her in person. "Yes, it pleases me", he answered, taking the mug and swallowing it's contents easily. He replaced the mug on the counter before moving onto his spare ribs. He had taken a few solid bites before he asked, "So, what brings you to these parts, Miss Thatch? If I may call you that?"

Audrey nodded back at Kaori before focussing on the Lizard-ling next to her. "Yes.. you may call me that for now.." She smiled warmly. "I'm just wandering for now.. trying to rebuild the number of those onboard my ship.. business matters is if pleases... and why do you sit here, away from your own kind.. It's in my knowledge to know that those of your clan do not leave your havens often..especially not to these parts of the Realm..."
The picked up her mug and drained it's contents quickly, producing a golden coloured handkerchief and delicately wiping the sides of her lips with it.

The lizardman smiled ruefully. Why had he left his clan? It was no secret matter. "Scholars are not welcome in our realms - we are a breed of warriors, not great thinkers. I was shunned by my people, both for my brains and my anger. The true mark of a warrior is that he knows when and where to strike - he does not show his strength without reason. I could not adhere to that." He shrugged wistfully and continued. "So I left my clan, searching for more answers." He turned to the pirate and looked deeply at her. "Would it bother you if not one person knew where you came from? Why your species exists? I know that our race is not natural - we are a mix of your kind and the reptiles. We were not spontaneous, but created. I wish to know when, by who. I wish to know my purpose!" He finished by pushing his glass away and staring somberly into space. "I wish to forget my past".

V stumbles into the bar hoping to escape the crowd outside. She looks around for an open person to talk to, but not knowing anyone and seeing others are currently busy she walks to a small corner and just sits down to think. 'What am I going to do... Why are we so hated.' She gets herself a a drink and continues to think.

Audrey nodded. "Unfortunately I cannot tell you when or why your species came to pass, for I was not yet borne when it happened, and this was some time ago.. you would need to consult someone much older.. the woman in the magick shop maybe.."
She spotted V over in the corner, and waved. "V!!" She called out. "Come join us.." She grinned, and turned back to the lizard-man.
"Would it be improper for me to ask you for your name sir? It's just that I have a proposition for you.. If you haven't already gotten a job that is.."
