Leonor sat at the edge of a cliff, the chilling wind dancing with the soft strands of her hair. She thought silently to herself, about the past, and all the things she lived for...or rather...used to live for. She stood up and dusted the dirt off her skirt and legs.
'Mother...father...was it right of me? Was it right for me to become a pirate?' she asked, knowing that there would be no answer, but somewhere in the corner of her mind there was a little bit of hope. Unfortunately, the little speck of hope was diminished when there came no reply. Leonor sighed and flopped to the floor. She did not know what lay ahead, but she knew it would be quite an adventure.

A young man was scouring the cliff for anything that would be particularly useful to him. The skies around Crystal Cove were known to drop precious items from time to time. He had already found a golden chain and a few peices of eight. He was normally innatentive to those around him whn searching for objects, but something caught his eye.
Who could that be? he pondered silently. He crept up behind the being, trying to get a better view of whatever it was.. He soon realised that he was invading the pirvacy of a young woman.. ..can't be more than sixteen or seventeen.. she looks so sad though.. should I.. no.. madness.. she'll never talk to someone like me.. 'civilised' people never wish to talk to pirates.. He sighed and trudged on..

Leonor popped her head up when she heard a twig crack. She looked behind her and saw a shadowy figure. She squinted to see that he was walking away. She quickly jumped up and dusted herself off.
"Um...hey!" she called to the figure. She ran up to him, tripping now and then. "Hey..." she huffed. "Who are you? My name is Leonor..."

Saxon turned quickly, now facing the young lady. 'I-I'm Saxon.. I'm a pirate.." He turned he face to once side and looked out at the sea.
"It's nice to have met you Leonor.. but I must continue on.. I'm meeting a friend soon, and it's best that I didn't bring anyone.. The Pirate captian can be a bit ruthless at times.. she's much too secrative for her own good.."

"Yes...I see..." she replied. "Seeing as we're both the same...I might as well go with you..." she said. "I, too, am a pirate..."

Saxon looked at her incredulously. "YOU?! A pirate?" He laughed cheekily. "Do you think you'd be able to handle it Mi'lady? I mean.. It's oft a rough life, and we oft don't get treated well by civilians and the suchlike.." His tone quickly changed. "Have ye talked to our captain then..? Or rather.. Our Captain's Daughter? Audrey..?"

Leonor crossed her arms.
"As a matter of fact...I'm not as fragile as I look!" she told him. "I'm an...er...was...er...i dunno! But I'm an Assassin!" She looked out to the sky. "Yeah...I needed the money. And yes...I have met Audrey."

Saxon grins again at her.. "I was just kidding Leonor.. Really.. It's a good thing that you've met Audrey.. What did you think of her?" He turned to face the ocean, and looked sadly at the horizon. "Audrey's my best friend.. Or rather.. she's my only friend.. the only one who's accepted me for.."He shook his head. "n-never mind"

She looked him in the eyes.
"For...?" she asked him. "I'm sure you can't be worse than what I've done..." she said, trailing off, as she usually did these days. "No, can't be worse..."
OOC: Like I said in a different post...the *worse* thing is editted into my profile...

Saxon smiled and held out his hand to her. "Come along then.. There's no sense in us sitting here crying over our emotional pasts.. There's only the future to think of."

Leonor nodded and took his hand. She had no idea what he had been talking about, but she was bound to find out, right? Most likely not, unless someone told her. She was allowing herself to be taken to wherever Saxon had wanted to take her. She trusted him, and she did not know why.

AS they walked along the cliff side, Saxon stared at his feet; watching where he trod, perhaps being able to spot a few more trinkets along the way. Realising how rude he was being, he lifted his head, and loked at Leonor. "So.. tell me about yerself.. What brings ye to join us?"

"Hm..." she said. "Well, um...what do you want to know?" she asked, not knowing where to start.

Kotei was wandering along the vast pallid shores of the pristine beach, watching his feet make deep indentaions in the soft sand. The foot shaped holes quickly filled up with the foamy wash from the sapphire dapped waves. He smiled to himself as he watched a seagull or two take wing from the barnacle infested rock that they were gingerly perching on. He listened to them crudely screeching insults that no human could understand, and almost laughed. Almost.
He skipped a smooth, flat rock across the glassy surface of the water, watching a white capped wave swallow it, ending it's short journey. He smiled again. When was he last this carefree? It seemed like he would never smile, before. And here he was, all roses and sunshine, smiling away a lifetime of pain. He kicked a stray lump of matted seaweed out of his meandering path, and looked up at the high, sun scorched cliff, squinting in the harsh sunlight. He knew he had to get back to the ship, and soon. Sighing, he picked up the pace a little, no longer pausing to watch his heavy footsteps fill with white foam, no longer hearing the screams of the cursed birds above him. It was just the sky and the sea. And a lonely cat boy.
