On a huge dock next to the waters of Crsytal Cove, stood a huge metropolis, made entirely of crystal. On one side there are many stores, magick, weaponry, items, clothes, etc. On the other end lie the houses, small big, or middle class. Some lay in ruins, entirely ignored by the rest of Senshi Daitoshi Ni. In the middle lie a circle-shaped park, where children play and adults watched happily. Downtown, however, was entirely abandoned. Dark and cold, no one dared enter.
Kaori stood inside an empty mansion, abandoned many years back. She ventured up the ivory crystal staircase, the mansion still held it's beauty even after many a long and perilous winter and summer. Reaching the top, she stepped into a crystal room, where a bed lie, a desk, 3 drawers and a walk-in closet. Kaori delicately sat on the bed and lie back, tears beginning to form at the edges of her neko eyes. 'What a life I led, what a lie I lived...'

Kaori stood from the bed and looked into the vanity mirror. Her eyes were red from her tears, and her cheeks wet from her sorrow. Kaori then walked into the closet and smelled all the fabrics; somehow, they still smelled Spring fresh. She walked over to a drawer and pulled out a letter, from an old friend.
[Dear Kaori, How are you doing? I'm so bored right now, and I miss you. You never come to school anymore! I hear that you've become an assassin, to pay your way. You've git a huge mansion now, I see you there all the time. You know what the weird thing is though, I don't see your parents around. I know that you're going to go away soon. To erase your past and everything. I know what happened downtown in Duaragon Alley. I saw...I saw...but I can't say...what really happened. It...the witch Al..Allie...Alll....ah forget it. She put a spell on me, so I may never utter the true happenings of last night. I am truly sorry, and I hope to see you again one day...
Love Ya Always, Keiji Hiroshi
PS You'll always be my favorite vampyre...]
Kaori's eyes was now fully letting out the sorrow, and she tasted her tears. 'Keiji...where are you now...?' she thought.

Kaori ventured downstairs and walked back outside into the chilly air of Senshi Daitoshi Ni. She wandered around the shops and came to one called Suishou Omoide.
"Give me a sakii," Kaori told the bartender, a sour look on her face. She stared out the window at all the people wandering around. She frowned. 'How careless they all are...no one knows what life is REALLY like...no one knows more than me.' The bartender gave her her drink and she downed it.
'Damn this place...' she thought to herself. 'Keiji must have left also...'

The front door opened and a young man walked into the bar. He amazing crystalline eyes and a scar gashed across his left cheek. His eyes, though soft and blue, had a hard sense about them. He glared around the room, and his eyes settled on a certain pirate assassin. He smirked and walked over to her, his eyes full of seduction.
"Hey..." he said, sitting by her at the bar.
"Hmph..." Kaori replied. "I've no time for things like you, not right now."
"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice sounding cocky. "A girl like you shouldn't be so sour."
"And what part would be your problem?" Kaori asked.
"That way, you'd come with me..." said the man.
"Get out of here, scum," Kaori said. The man only smirked and raised an eyebrow.
"Only if you'll come with me," he said.

"No," Kaori said firmly. "Now leave me be. I'd rather be alone." The man shook his head and walked on to an easier prey, on of the whorish waitresses.
