Right in the center of the main town square stood a well-built buiding labeled "Fate" On the main window is a sign that says: Today's Special: Honey BBQ Ribs Come on in Leonor looks up to the bar and sighs. She lifts a hand and traces the carvings on the wooden door. So many memories lay in there. She traces to the doorknob and places shaking hand on it. 'What am I doing?' she thinks. 'I'm not ready yet.' She drops her hand and runs away. 'No, not yet...' she says to herself as she is blinded by tears.

This be Audrey Thatch posting OOC
Sorry about this Aurora, but could you please modify your post slightly. You must remember that Eight Oceans is not an Earth based land. It is nowhere near our known universe, and is high fantasy ONLY. You'll have to change the Korean bit to something else. Thank you.. ^_____^

Though Gryph appeared to be nothing more than a naive noble, he was well aware of what sort of place this was. Dressed in simple, practical clothing with only minimal adornment, he had concealed whatever money he carried within the folds of his clothing. His only visible weapon was the golden-hilted laroche fastened to his belt, its hilt set with a solitary emerald. Even this he had taken pains to conceal, draping the rich hilt with a black cloth that could easily be removed should he have need to use it.
In itself, the weapon was an object of value. However, the mysterious blade was perhaps Gryph's only key to his past. As such, he guarded the weapon carefully, lest his single clue be lost to him.
The only other hint of the possibility of noble birth was his regal bearing and air of quiet confidence. It was a carraige of self that puzzled him along with his strange and varied skills, and if he was indeed a noble, Gryph was not privy to that knowledge.
As he made his way down the street, sliently observing the surrounding area, a young woman all but crashed into him. Holding his arms out to steady her, Gryph apologised in a sincere voice, smiling kindly. "Oh...I'm terribly sorry, miss. Are you hurt at all?"
While he was aware that the girl may not have been a pickpocket, Gryph observed her with piercing golden eyes, his scrutiny concealed by his almost childlike friendliness.

Leonor looked up at who she had just bumped into.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry...I guess I wasn't looking where I was going..." Her cheeks turned a light pink. She bowed her head, embarassed.
'Why do I always have to be so...clumsy...?' she asked herself. 'It's my stupid feelings' fault. If I didn't have any, I wouldn't be blinded by my tears...'

Gryph continued to smile in his disarming manner. "Oh it's quite all right," he told her. "There is no need to apologise, miss."
Gryph paused, tilting his head slightly. Though he could see the tears in her eyes, he did not wish to pry into her affairs or make her feel uncomfortable. He was a complete stranger, after all. Nevertheless, he allowed his concern and sympathy to reflect in his pale amber eyes.
"Would you care to join me for tea, perhaps? And no, I'm not trying to pick you up," he queried, punctuating his question with a soft chuckle.

Leonor wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled.
"Yes..." she said, slowly. "My name is Leonor Aurora."

"I am Gryph Realta. A pleasure to meet you, Miss Leonor Aurora." Taking her hand lightly and bowing, Gryph brushed his lips lightly over the back of her hand before he released it.
He straightened once more, smiling . "Is there any place in particular that you fancy? I'm not very familiar with the area," he admitted, scratching the back of his head with a hint of embarrassment.

"Well..." she said, looking back at the bar she had just run from. "There's that bar there." She pointed to Fate. "Would you like to go there?"

*Trens walks down the street, looking for a place to rest and notices the Fate* Good a place as any *shrugs, walks through the door and sits at the bar* Give me a Bloody Mary *smiles at his own bad joke as the bartender hands him a drink. Trens looks at the drink a moment and then drinks it in one gulp* Trens: Another... Barkeeper: Hey, maybe you should lay off the booze Trens: It doesn't matter.... *bartender hands him another drink* Trens: Hey, have you heard of any good merc jobs around this town? Bartender: Nope, can't say I have. If your looking for one though, this is probably as good a place as any to find one. Trens: Thanks *downs the drink and pays for it*

Gryph continued to smile sweetly as he replied. "If it's to your liking, miss. You know far more about this town than I do, I imagine."
His corresponding laughter was soft, almost a childlike giggle.

"Um...alright," she said. She grabbed his wrist and led him down the street to the bar. "This is it. This is Fate. They have some awesome food and the best Honey BBQ wings!" She pointed to the sign. "And they have a special!"

Gryph laughed lightly. "A very good choice, then," he commented, holding the door open for her.
