/Name: Salome' Quiel Ua Maei
Alias: Quiel Thatch
Age: 1087. Looks about 25-ish.
Gender: female
Marital status: single
Race: Elven
Class: Noble-Mage
Pirate, S.E.A Corps or Civilian: Pirate
Eyes: blue
Hair: black, wavy, elbow-length.
Facial Features: Has a row of blue dots tattooed around the lower curve of her right eye. Also has pretty prominent dimples.
Height and Build: 5'9", medium build.
Style: Varied. Quiel is generally in trousers and boots, but wears the occasional dress if she really has to. She's not as fond of regalities as Audrey, but always wears a string of black crystal looped twice around her neck with a blue stone pendant attached. Quiel also wears a circlet of golden coloured fish that swim in circles around her neck.
Weapon/s: Dragon Head Katana and leafblade shortswordsimilar to those used by Audrey. She also owns a several Scimitars, a long bow, two pin daggers and a ring pointe.
History: Salome' Quiel, the purebred elven daughter of Sahreht Ua Maei and Evadet Teb Luan is also the much younger cousin of Audrey Thatch, the once captain of the Jaded Scabbard. Sahreht, Ariike's younger sister married Evadet during the first age and concieved Quiel in the sixth age. They named her Salome' Quiel, derived from the root word 'Salom' - to dance. In her youth, Quiel was trained in magick at the Academy in Crystal Cove where she crafted her crystal chain to source energies and stabilise them within the pendant. In Audrey's final years of captaincy, she took Quiel onto the Jaded Scabbard for a 'visit', teaching her how to run the ship. Five hundred years have passed since the four thousand year reign of Captain Thatch ended with her resignation, and Quiel took over the Jaded Scabbard as Captain. She adopted Audrey's name, Thatch, to keep The Scabbard within family hands. The Elven Nobility were shocked by this action, as Quiel was the sole remaining heir to the elven regency. Upon Audrey's retirement, Quiel abandoned all formalities and began her training as a thief in Malderosh. There was an attempted coup by the Pirates when she first took the position of Captain, with the general sentiment being one of them should have been offered the coveted position rather than this inexperienced newcomer. Still learning the ways of piracy, Quiel attempts to cover up her flaws and feigns the impression of experience in her position drawing inspiration from the former captain's leadership. However, Quiel is not pirating for acceptance as Audrey was. Being of an inquisitive nature, Quiel is looking for lost treasures in a new life of freedom from the 'properness' of the elves.
Personality: Terribly self-assured and inwardly cynical, Quiel sports a elegant and calm facade. She holds herself well and can change her accents fluidly from the slow, serene manner of the elves, to one that is more rough and sailor-like. She smirks a great deal.
Other useless facts that wouldn't fit anywhere else: ((OOC: Audrey isn't dead. I would never ever ever kill Audrey. Ever. ^_^))
^The Inking botched up the image. The colouring botched up the image. The scanning botched up the image. My fingerprints couldn't be erased, and I was too lazy to connect my tablet to erase them. Hence, it's scrappy and whatnot, but you get the idea. :P
