"A were-person...no, never seen one. Heard of them before, though," said Ryosei. Of course, a human who changes into animals, he should have thought 'were-person' right away...he was just too fixated on the problem at hand.
Speaking of the problem...
Ana-Dreya seemed to have forgotten her earlier request, turning and facing the ocean. Ryosei himself also walked over to the cliff, looking out onto the vast ocean. The glittering sunlight sparkled over the ripples and Ryosei, for a moment, didn't regret at all leaving the forest. He turned to Ana-Dreya who was standing...with her feet hanging over the edge. She didn't seem too concerned, concentrating on her inner thoughts and looking out onto the ocean.
"Don't fall..." he offered nervously. "It's a long way down..."
At that, the were-person approached them again. He excused himself for frightening him earlier, before coming out with this: "Oh and Ryosei I have a message for you... from the united gardeners agency... they say that you can't return to your garden for at least a month... they're carrying out your request...um.. to expand your... land... about 50 acres. If you'll excuse me... Ana-Dreya, Ryosei.." With that, he left them.
Well, I'll be damned. Ryosei thought. The were-person not only knew both of their names, but he also had understood the predicament he was in. Ryosei turned to Ana-Dreya again.
"Well, I guess that's that then...the uh...United Gardeners Agency have finally complied with my um...request. I guess I won't be able to show you the garden after all...sorry about that." He turned his head partly to the were-person, giving him a thumbs up and mouthing a genuine 'Thank You.'

Audrey broke out of her thougts to her Ryosei speaking. "Don't fall...It's a long way down..." She turned and grinned at him. "Don't worry.. I won't.. I'll make sure of it." She stepped back and spotted the were-person walking towards them. He spoke before about Ryosei's garden before dismissing himself politely.
Audrey started. How did this strange know her birth name? She didn't offer it to just anyone.. her crew and her people.. perhaps close civilian friends, but they mostly knew to keep it to themselves.. however she dismissed this shortly afterwards. She travelled around quite a bit.. It didn't really matter anyway...
Looking back at Ryosei, she sighed slightly. "Doesn't matter.. perhaps if we meet at a later stage when it's completed..." she paused, and didn't finish the sentence.
"So.. uuh.. are you just visiting this area for a few days? What kind of accomodation do you have? If need be I can arrange for you to stay at the Inn belonging to a good friend of mine for a good price.."

Ryosei grinned. He didn't have a set place to stay, he had been wandering around this place for a couple of days now. He was running low on money and Ana-Dreya's offer seemed ideal.
"That sounds great!" he answered cheerfully. It seemed everything was running smoothly. "I suppose we could arrange something later...I don't really want to leave right now. But that sounds great."
He turned out to the ocean once more, smiling.

The girl nodded and sat down against a shimmering blue piller, pressing the palms of her hands against the smooth rock.
Staring at Ryosei, she couldn't help but be curious about the meaning behind the monkeyish grin plastered across his face. "What are you thinking about...?" she asked, leaning back further.

Ryosei turned and stepped towards Ana-Dreya, knocking some crystal over the edge of the cliff with his heel unnknowingly. His smile not wavering, he said "Since I got here I haven't actually had a good conversation with anyone until now. I'm really glad I ran into you. I like to talk, and the people I've spoken to lately seem to have had a really 'just get to the point, mouthy-boy' kind of attitude. I haven't had a good talk for a while."
Ryosei looked over at the sea in wonderment again. "Do you like the ocean?" he asked. Sort of a corny question, but Ryosei sure knew HE did.

"Okay," V says watching this new person run and jump over the cliff. She walks over to the cliff and watches the chinchilla climb the cliff. She notices Ana-dreya standing with someone. Not wanting to disturb them she keeps her eyes fixed on the chinchilla.

Kaori opened her eyes again, her tears dried behind her eyelids. She wiped whatever leftover tears she had left, and stood up once again. She saw V standing by the cliffside, starig down somewhere. She decided to walk up to her.
"Hey V..." Kaori said, her voice somewhat sad. "Wutcha lookin at?"

AUdrey nodded. She knew what the boy was saying.. she had the same problem. "I know what you mean.. I've gotten to the stage where I just shut up now and save my breath for someone who'll listen to me.. " She sighed and fiddled with the petals of a small flower which was growing next to the pillar she was sitting against before looking back up at Ryosei, and then the glass-like, turquoise coloured body of water. "Yes.. yes I do..."
Audrey looked down at her lap again, feeling somewhat squirmish about this subject. The ocean played such a large role in her life, and they meant a lot to her, but how was she to explain how she felt about it? It was too much of a personal question, and she decided firmly that she wouldn't say anything more until she had thought it over more carefully..
"Yes.. I love the ocean.. perhaps even more than anything else.."

"Me too. When I was a younger elf I always used to play near the streams and water-pools. My friends never really understood why I liked it so much. I had dreams of water...everywhere. And when I finally left the forest, I found this..."
He nodded towards the water. His eyes sort of glazed over as he watched. "It's literally like a dream come true to me..."

"I'm afraid not many of our kind understand why water is such a blessing to some..." She sighed. "To most of them, water is just an unnessisary creation of Mothers to help the other beings survive.. They take it for granted, thinking that it's a bother to our culture; especially when it rains.. they don't realise that without water we can't live as we do.."
Audrey stood up and walked towards Ryosei, who was facing the oceans they both adored so feverently. Placing her hand on his shoulder she quietly hummed the tune of an ancient elvish song which was well known amongst the even races, but the meaning was not known by most. It was a song about a group of seafaring elves.. different from others of their kind.. telling their stories. Stories of adventure, and beauty surpassing anything they had ever seen before..
"We are fortunate to be able to appreciate such beauty Ryosei. The others unknowingly suffer for their ignorance.. Yes.. we are indeed fortunate.."
