The air was crisp and cool, despite the fact that it was an extremely warm day and the sun beat hard against Audrey's bare shoulders, as she strolled towards the gardens. Stopping for a second, she bent over and scooped up a handful of what appeared to be blue sand, but was infact ground sapphire crystal. Anywhere else in mother, these kind of gardens would be seen as a natural phenomenon, but the shapely 'trees' and pathways of shimmering quartz and crystal were quite normal in crystal cove...

Ryosei wiped his brow. The day was hot, and to avoid dehydration he had to stroll without his favourite coat. This also meant he had to stroll weaponless. As he entered the shimmering blue gardens, however, his mind drifted away from his defencelessness and took in the beauty of his surroundings.
It was amazing. Ryosei simply stood there in awe, surveying the gardens. He was too engrossed by the area to notice the lady nearby.

Audrey sat down underneath one of the shimmering pillars, hoping to escape the sun for a while. Spreading out, she took the lid off from the flask she was carrying, and effortlessly drained the golden liquid contained in it.
She looked up, absently dropping the flask to her side and gazed out across the gardens.. 'simply stunning' she murmered to herself, before spying the young man standing not fifty metres away from where she rested. Audrey retracted a bit, pressing back against the pillar, hoping to not disturb the man who appeared as though he were meditating..
Deciding not to disturb him further, Audrey stood silently, and began to gather up her belongings, planning to leave the man to his meditations, though why he would want to in this heat was beyond her comprehension..

Ryosei's ears twitched as he heard some rustling behind him. Snapping back to attention, he turned around to see what had made the noise. He spotted her: a young looking lady gathering her belongings. He couldn't believed he had missed her on the way in. Normally, upon passing somebody he would say hello or something, but it seemed a little too late to do that now. Instead, he gave her a little wave with an embarrassed smile on his face. He hated it when people caught him looking at them.

Audrey looked up to see the man, waving and smiling.. Her cheeks reddened. "I'm sorry.. did I distub ye..?" She looked down at her belongings. "I was just about to leave in fear that I would draw you away from whatever you were thinking of.."
She stood up, the folds of her light gown falling, and she attempted to straighten out the creases with her right hand. Then, holding out the other, as if to offer a handshake she spoke again. "May I inquire as to what your name is.. You're one of my people.. It's fairly obvious, but I've never seen you before.."

Ryosei shook the lady's hand cheerfully.
"Ryosei," he said. "It's nice to see someone else like me around here. And if you were going to leave just because of me, you don't have to worry...I was just...looking. This place is great."
He looked around again at the gardens. "And who might you be?" he asked, facing the lady again.

Audrey smiled. "It is breathtaking isn't it..?" Her eyes went hazy as she looked around again. ".. oh.. I'm sorry.. I'm Ana-Dreya" She giggled. "You'll have to forgive me.. I'm not entirely myself today.." She dropped her things onto the ground carlessly.

As soon as the items hit the ground, Ryosei kneeled down, picking up what Ana-Dreya had dropped. "Here, let me help you with that..." he muttered. Collecting her things, he stood back up.
"Ana-Dreya, huh? That's a nice name." He flashed a grin to her, handing her back her belongings. "Is this your first time here? I sort of wandered here by accident." He looked around. "Kind of glad I did," he said, smiling at her again.

Leonor walked into the marvelous garden. It was amazing, breathtaking. She looked around her and spotted a couple chatting. She walked past them, and decided to sit under one of the pillars, escaping the sun's rays, if only for a little bit. She leaned against the pillars and closed her eyes.
"It's a beautiful day, but it's so hot..." she said to herself.

Audrey gratefully took her belingings from Ryosei. "Thank-you" She chirped, smiling to herself. It was far too lovely, in terms of scenery and weather ((true it was a bit warm.. but sunny skies.. aaaah...)) , to be worried about anything else but making the day lovelier. "I've never been here before either.. It's odd in a way.. I don't recall ever seeing these gardens before this day, and I wonder if they've made an appearance due to the hands of mother.. perhaps she's wanting a change.. or a place where all can be united without conflict..." Audrey paused for a second before staring at Ryosei and bursting out into laughter. "As if that would ever happen.." Her pale hand was lifted quickly to her lips as if to stifle another giggle. "Conflict between rivals could never be looked past because a beautiful garden suddenly appears.."
She turned her head and spotted Leonor, waved, and turned back to Ryosei, grinning, her eyes apparently growing larger and she looked intently at the young elf.

V sumbles into the beautiful scenery and bends down to pick a small flowerlike crystal that was on the ground. When she notices a small place on the gound with a little bit of shade and decides to sit and watch the beautiful things.

Kaori waved back, seeing Audrey wave to her first. She lie down and tried her best not to dehydrate and faint. She pulled out a flask of water and took a few sips. She lie back down again and looked at all the beautiful sapphire quartz.

V sits and watches a few squirrels chase each other up a tree each one changing position for leader to chaser. She begins to think to herself, maybe this is like just our fight... The SEA and the Pirates.Who knows if there will even be a winner...

Ryosei listened and pondered. If Ana-Dreya spoke the truth (and he saw no reason why she shouldn't) then the beautiful garden simply popped up overnight, or close to it. It seemed amazing to him that such a feat could be attempted. However, as an elf, he had no doubt about the powers of Mother, and he accepted that perhaps it WAS Mother who had created this brilliant place in such a short time.
Perhaps she's wanting a change.. or a place where all can be united without conflict..." Perhaps Ana-Dreya was correct. The world had been a much less peaceful place lately. Crimes were commited everywhere and it seemed nobody cared for anybody but themself. All these feelings of distrust simply drained from Ryosei's mind as he first entered the beautiful crystal gardens.
His train of thought was disrupted when Ana-Dreya laughed into his face, and promptly disregarded everything she had said. Conflict between rivals could never be looked past because a beautiful garden suddenly appears.." Rivals? What rivals could such an elegant being possibly have? Perhaps she referred to the Pirates. Ryosei could see why an elf such as Ana-Dreya would dislike the Pirates...they disrupted the peace everywhere, killing and looting. Ryosei didn't know why he didn't dislike the Pirates more...but he wasn't like the other elves. And unfortunately, he felt that there was no way he could possibly learn to be more like his kin. What kind of elf leaves the forest to live on the ocean?
Ryosei shook his head angrily, not because of his thoughts, but because of the fact that it was far too nice a day to spend worrying about things of that sort. He was who he was and he would think of how to change later.
He watched Ana-Dreya turn and wave at another lady sitting in the gardens. He hadn't even seen her walk in, he was so mixed up in his own thoughts. The lady cheerfully waved back to Ana-Dreya, who turned to face Ryosei again.
"Friend of yours?" Ryosei asked, determined to change the subject.

Audrey nodded. "Yeah.. One of the few I have left.." She beamed. Not knowing what else to say, she fidgeted before asking "So what exactly do you do for a living? Mage? Many elves are.."
